TWO-DIMENSIONAL DESIGN
APPLICATION OF PRINCIPLES COMPOSITION
This final project of the semester represents an opportunity for the application of all the visual principles, knowledge and skills that the students had learned throughout the semester. In it, the students create a composition utilizing one solution from each of the semester’s previous projects, including the course name and their first and last name. Students must consider the following in their composition: rhythm, tension, and balance; color and how it affects the composition and hierarchy of the design elements; and the hierarchy of the elements used.
